The outside (right) northbound lane on SH146 will be closed between NASA Road 1 and Red Bluff Road in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 4/19/21 to 4/23/21. This closure is for access to paving work. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
The outside (right) southbound lane on SH146 will be closed between NASA Road 1 in Seabrook and FM2094 in Kemah9:00pm 4/22/21 to 5:00am 4/23/21 and from 9:00pm 4/23/21 to 9:00am 4/24/21. This closure is for setting concrete girders on the Express Bridge. 6 off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
*UPDATE – DATE CHANGED* The northbound exit from SH146 to Red Bluff Road in Seabrook will be fully closed 2:00am to 2:00pm on 4/21/21. If weather conditions interfere with this work, the closure could be shifted back one day to 4/22/21. This closure is for moving concrete barriers to create access to paving work. One off duty police officer is anticipated to be used in this closure.
The intersection of 6th Street and SH146 in Kemah will be controlled/flagged by off duty police officers9:00pm to 9:00am on the night shift Friday 4/23/21. The traffic signals will be taken down for this shift so concrete girders can be delivered and lifted onto the new Express Bridge structure. While the traffic signals are down, off duty police officers will be utilized to control the flow of traffic and keep the intersection open. Multiple off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
