This post is to notify you of new lane closures for the SH146 project:
There will be intermittent closures / halting of traffic on SH146 at 6th Street on the nights of 2/26/20 through 2/28/20, 9:00pm to 5:00am each night. During these closures, police officers will be used to fully stop all traffic on SH146 for short periods of time (typically 5 minutes or less) throughout the night to allow large concrete girder delivery trucks to cross the highway and enter the construction zone. We anticipate 10 deliveries or fewer each night. These will be the first concrete girders installed on the new Express Bridge.
There will be alternating lane closures at the FM2094 and FM518 intersections with SH146 from 9:00am to 3:00pm from 2/24/20 to 2/28/20. This closure is to complete work on the traffic shift. Two-way traffic will be maintained.
There will be alternating lane closures on Red Bluff Road east of SH146 from 9:00am to 3:00pm on 2/24/20. This closure is to sawcut for storm sewer installation. Two-way traffic will be maintained.
The outside (right) southbound lane on SH146 will be closed between FM2094 and SH96 from 9:00am to 3:00pm from 2/24/20 to 2/28/20. This closure is to demolish concrete pavement.
These closures are subject to change if needed due to weather.
