Northbound Lane Closure & Street Closed Under Bridge

Please take note of the following lane closures and full street closures:

  • The northbound outside lane on SH 146 between 4th Street and NASA Parkway will be closed starting on Saturday, March 30, 2019, through Wednesday, April 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (updated from 3 p.m.) each day. This closure is to create a work zone for demolition activities. 

  • 10th Street (Shipyard Drive) underneath the Clear Creek Channel Bridge (Seabrook-Kemah Bridge) will be fully closed on Friday, April 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This closure is to create a work zone for overhead demolition and drilling the new bridge foundations.  

  • 10th Street (Shipyard Drive) underneath the Clear Creek Channel Bridge (Seabrook-Kemah Bridge) will be fully closed again starting Monday, April 8 through Wednesday, April 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. This closure is to create a work zone for overhead demolition and drilling the new bridge foundations. 

    Additional information for 10th Street (Shipyard Drive) Closures 

    • The southbound SH 146 connector ramp will be closed to all traffic except those traveling to and from the Seabrook Marina and Shipyard. 

    • Southbound traffic on SH 146 needing to get to the Seabrook Waterfront District should turn left onto Main Street (2nd St) and then right onto Todville Road.  

    • Traffic wanting to travel south on SH 146 will not be able to access the connector ramp from underneath the bridge. Rather traffic should access Todville to Main Street (2nd Street) and then turn left (south) onto SH 146 at the NASA Parkway intersection.   

  • Uniformed Police Officers will be onsite to assist with the closures if needed
