This post is to notify you of new lane closures for the SH146 project:
LANE CLOSURES:
The outside (right) southbound lane on SH146 will be closed between NASA Road 1 and 10th Street / Shipyard Drive in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 12/6/21 to 12/11/21. This closure is for bridge deck preparation on the Express Bridge. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
The inside (left) eastbound and westbound lane will be closed on E Meyer Avenue just east of SH146 continuously, beginning 7:00am 12/6/21 and ending at midnight on 12/11/21. This closure is for access to a utility force main installation. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
This closure will only take place on the E Meyer Avenue side of the intersection, not the Repsdorph Road side of the intersection.
The continuous closure is needed to protect traffic from an open excavation.
There will be intermittent construction flagging of traffic on the southbound SH146 entrance ramp, south of Red Bluff Road 9:00am to 3:00pm daily on 12/6/21 and 12/7/21. This flagging is needed to install temporary asphalt pavement and roadway striping. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
FULL CLOSURES:
FM2094 will be fully closed (both directions) just west of SH146 5:00am Thursday 12/9/21 through 5:00am Friday 12/10/21 and 5:00am Monday 12/13/21 through 5:00am Wednesday 12/15/21. This closure is for post-tension work on a cap for the Express Bridge. 2 off duty police officers are anticipated to be used during this closure.
Detour for traffic on SH146: FM2094 can be accessed by turning west on FM518 until you reach FM2094.
Detour for traffic on FM2094: SH146 can be reached by traveling west on FM2094, south on FM270, and east on SH96.
These closures are subject to change if needed due to weather.
