This post is to notify you of new lane closures for the SH146 project:
Capri Lane in Seabrook will be full closed at SH146 beginning 7:00am on 1/27/21 and the closure will remain in place continuously until 2/26/21. This closure is necessary to mitigate soil contamination and install storm sewer and water lines. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure, but officers will be available if needed. The detour will be to use El Mar Lane and Bahama Drive to get around the closure.
There will be alternating lane closures in both directions of Towers Boulevard in Seabrook beginning 5:00am Monday 1/25/21 and continuing through midnight Saturday 1/30/21. This closure is to reconstruct the intersection using fast-track concrete paving. Access to and from Towers Boulevard will be maintained throughout this time period. 2 off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
There will be alternating lane on SH146 at FM518 and FM2094 in Kemah 9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 1/25/21 to 1/30/21. This closure is to repair pavement markings. 2 off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
There will be alternating lane closures in both directions of Seabrook Circle in Seabrook beginning 5:00am Wednesday 1/27/21 and continuing through midnight Saturday 1/30/21. This closure is to reconstruct the intersection using fast-track concrete paving. Access to and from Seabrook Circle will be maintained throughout this time period. 2 off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
There will be construction flagging at the driveways along northbound SH146 between Repsdorph Road and Red Bluff Road in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 1/25/21 to 1/30/21. The flagging will help provide driveway access as the driveways are demolished and reconstructed. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
There will be periodic construction flagging at the side streets along northbound SH146 between NASA Road 1 and Repsdorph Road in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 1/25/21 to 1/30/21. The flagging will help provide street access during earthwork hauling operations. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
The outside (right) southbound lane on SH146 will be closed between Humble Drive and Repsdorph Road in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm daily from 1/25/21 to 1/30/21. This closure is for retaining wall work. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
The outside (right) southbound lane on SH146 will be closed between 10th Street / Shipyard Drive and FM2094 in Kemah 9:00am to 3:00pm daily on 1/26/21 and 1/27/21. This closure is for setting concrete girders. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
The outside (right) southbound lane on SH146 will be closed between NASA Road 1 and 10th Street / Shipyard Drive in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm daily on 1/28/21 and 1/29/21. This closure is for setting concrete girders. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
The outside (right) eastbound lane on NASA Road 1 will be closed just west of SH146 in Seabrook 9:00am to 3:00pm on 1/28/21 and 1/29/21. This closure is for setting concrete girders. No off duty police officers are anticipated to be used in this closure.
These closures are subject to change if needed due to weather.
