This post is to notify you of new lane closures for the SH146 project:
The outside (right) southbound lane on SH146 will be closed between NASA Road 1 and the Clear Creek Bridge (Seabrook / Kemah Bridge) from 3:00am to 12:00pm on 4/4/20. This closure is for column construction.
*UPDATED – EXTENDED END TIME TO 5PM* The outside (right) southbound lane on SH146 will be closed between the Clear Creek Bridge (Seabrook / Kemah Bridge) and FM2094 from 7:00am to 5:00pm on 4/6/20. This closure is for equipment access to a demolition work area.
There will be short-term (around 5 minutes) intermittent full closures/traffic halts at the intersection of SH146 and 6th Street in Kemah between 7:00pm and 5:00am on the nights of 4/16/20 and 4/17/20. Police officers will be used for this operation. The closures are needed for large concrete girders to access the project site so they can be set on the new bridge.
These closures are subject to change if needed due to weather.
