SH 146 Northbound Lane Closure at Towers Blvd.
Please be advised that the outside (right) northbound lane on SH146 will be closed at Towers Boulevard in Seabrook from 9am to 3pm on Wednesday, July 17. This closure is to facilitate storm sewer box installation.
Towers Blvd. Closure
Please be advised that Towers Boulevard in Seabrook will be closed from 9am to 3pm on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20. Flaggers will be present to allow access to and from the property. This closure is to demolish the Towers of Seabrook sign and haul material off-site.
Northbound Lane Closure on Bridge
Please be advised that the outside (right) northbound lane on SH146 will be closed on the existing Clear Creek Bridge (Seabrook/Kemah Bridge) for 36 consecutive hours starting at 12am on Wednesday, July 31 to 12pm on Thursday, August 1.
The first 12 hours of this closure will allow for pouring a large new section of bridge deck for the northbound widening. The following 24 hours of this closure are to minimize vibrations that could cause cracking in the newly poured deck.
The inside (left) lane will remain open so no detour is needed. Expect delays during the morning rush hour period.
