Southbound outside lane closed between 4th Street in Kemah to FM 2094 on Thursday, May 9, Friday, May 10 and Monday, May 13 from 9am to 3pm daily. This closure is to create a work zone for underground utility exploration. The inside lane will remain open, so no detour will be needed.
Northbound inside lane closed between 6th St. in Kemah to Hardesty Avenue in Seabrook on Monday, May 13 from 9pm to 5am. This closure is to create a work zone concrete barrier and reflector maintenance. The outside lane will remain open, so no detour will be needed.

ALTERNATING LANE CLOSURES
BETWEEN NASA PARKWAY AND SEABROOK-KEMAH BRIDGE
These lane closures will create a TRAFFIC SHIFT to the west, eliminating the center turning lane south of 4th St. in Seabrook. The southbound left turn lane to 4th Street and the northbound left turn lane to NASA Parkway will be maintained.
The area will be restriped and low profile concrete barriers will be placed along the east edge of SH 146 in this area to create a work zone for drainage and roadway expansion.
All side streets will still have access to and from SH 146 with the exception of Hardesty which will be blocked by barriers.
CONNECTOR RAMP CLOSED
The SH 146 southbound connector ramp leading to the Seabrook Shipyard and Waterfront will be CLOSED starting May 14 and continuing for approximately two weeks from 9pm to 5am each night. This work will not occur on Friday or Saturday nights. This closure is to create a work zone for asbestos abatement.
Southbound traffic needing to access the Shipyard or Waterfront will be detoured eastbound on Main Street (2nd st.) and then right onto Todville Road.
Traffic needing to leave the Shipyard or Waterfront will be detoured north on Todville Road and then left onto Main Street (2nd St.).
