The demolition at the former Texaco gas station, located at 1810 Bayport, is currently underway. Texaco has announced they have no plans to rebuild in the City. More details will be provided when they are available.
Due to the SH146 expansion, Ryan’s Dry Cleaners has officially moved. They have been at their new location for about a month now, on the far north side of town in the Seabrook Plaza at 5735 Bayport.

TXDOT has begun the demolition at the former KFC/Taco Bell location on State Highway 146. KFC/Taco Bell closed for business on January 2017 due to the expansion of the highway. City Staff is working with the franchise owner on finding a new site for the restaurant.
TXDOT has begun the demolition at the former Popeye’s location on State Highway 146. Popeye’s closed for business on July 2016 in anticipation of the expansion of the highway. The demolition should be completed in about 10 days.
